神田はオフィス街で、居酒屋、ラーメン屋、カレー屋で溢れています。先週行きつけの美味しいラーメン屋の「そめいよしの」の店長に教えてもらった居酒屋「とら八」に行きました。
場所は、神田駅西口商店街を歩き、最初の交差点を左折するとすぐ右側にあります。
「とら八」は、上野、御徒町、秋葉原、大手町に支店がある所謂チェーン店です。日頃は、チェーン店系の店は出来るだけ避けています。「とら八」は、各店舗の店長にメニューに裁量権がかなりあり、刺身も美味しいとの事前情報があり行きました。店長の人柄、サービス精神も素晴らしいとのことでした。
とら八特製焼酎ハイボール、牛スジ煮込み、松輪あじ刺し、煮きゃべつなどを食べました。どれも美味しく、煮きゃべつに添えられている肉味噌も美味しく、お酒が進みます。今回は食べませんでしたが、刺身の盛り合わせも大変お得で美味しいそうです。前評判どおり、店長のサービスも感じが良いお店でした。
