何故かあまり行かない神保町。
神保町と聞いて真っ先に浮かんだのはこの前ファミマでボンディ監修のカレーを食べたのを思い出し、ボンディに決定。
早速本店に行ってみたが20-30人の並び!これはボンディはあきらめて別の店に行くか...と思ったが、近くに神田小川町店があるとのことで、そちらに行ってみた。こちらも並んだが、本店の半分くらい+回転は早めなので、20分くらいで入店。
入店して注文をすると、おぉ、出てきた出てきたボンディの代名詞のジャガイモとバター。食べるタイミングは委ねられているが、ホクホクのうちに食べたいので、食べながら待つ。
そして出てきたポークカレー+チーズトッピング(辛口)。ライスにもチーズが乗っているが、チーズはいくらでものせていいって誰かが言っていた気がする。そしてライスの脇には漬物とカリカリ梅が(？)
カレーは流石有名店だと思わせる味。欧風カレーらしくバター風味が強くまったりとしていたが、濃厚でスパイシーな味がストレートに入ってくる。辛さはチーズのおかげでそこまで感じなかった。食べ終わるころにはじゃがバターもあり満足感が高め。
コンビニのカレーの時点で美味かったが、やはり現地で食べると桁違い。欧風カレーでは一番好きな味だった。
