Part 277 of the company food series. I worked all day at the office today, so I went to lunch in the surrounding area. Last time I went to a soba restaurant, I decided to go to Ryusei Saikan, a Chinese Cuisine restaurant that I didn't go to because it was next to a tantanmen restaurant. The store is located along Yasukuni Dori between Jimbocho and Ogawamachi stations, and although the exterior is a little flashy, the inside looks rather ordinary. There were counter and table seats, and there was also a second floor. When I visited, it was a little after 1:00 pm, and there were two groups of customers first, and two groups came in later. The staff were two Chinese women who also worked in the hall kitchen. Today I ordered Gomoku fried rice. The food arrived after 3.4 minutes of waiting. I couldn't decide between the stir-fried pork and jellyfish with eggs or the mapo tofu bowl, but I wanted fried rice so I chose Gomoku fried rice. The Gomoku fried rice came with soup and spicy pickled cabbage, and the fried rice was crunchy and had pork, eggs, and green onions, and was well seasoned, making it the most delicious of the fried rice in the area. The fried rice this time was delicious and made me want to try other menu items again.
