Near JR Akihabara Station, Ochanomizu Station, Kanda Station, Marunouchi Line Awajicho Station, Toei Shinjuku Line Ogawamachi Station, Ginza Line Kanda Station
We are located diagonally across from Kanda Sudacho, a long-established shopping street (Kanda Yabusabe). Due to the extension of the state of emergency, we will be closed until September 30th. |
In Kanda Sudacho 1-chome, diagonally opposite [a:13000334, Kanda Yabusoba], there is a green, white, and red tricolored eaves, [a:13112000, Gramophone Restaurants Marchand]. On the second floor of the building, there is a comedy hall called "Kanda Renjakutei" for young and futatsume performers, and the curtain is decorated with black, light green, and persimmon, so the first and second floors have similar but different tricolor patterns. ...Green = light green, red = persimmon, so don't they look similar? (ノ≧ڡ≦) Now, as for Marchand, why is it called a "gramophone Restaurants"? The restaurant has vintage gramophones and SP records. It is a place where you can enjoy the sound of rare SP records from over 100 years ago with a gramophone. However, the gramophone performance is only reserved or as a gramophone concert, so it seems that you can't just drop in at lunchtime and listen to it. There is also a big antique clock in the store. According to our store's [a:https://twitter.com/marusyan_kanda,Official Twitter], it was made in Vienna, Austria in the early 1800s, so it feels like a great-great-great-grandfather's clock. In addition, the [a:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PFo1-lGf8bE,Brand Movie] of "LORD ELGIN", the luxury line of Elgin, an American watch brand, was filmed in our store! w( ̄Д ̄;)w Wow!! You can have lunch in such a cool atmosphere. For lunch, there are five types of spaghetti (220g) or penne (170g), from 1,050 yen, and four types of fresh pasta (140g), from 1,150 yen. A drink is included. The homemade fresh pasta is recommended, but the portion is small at 140g, so I would recommend ordering the large portion, 100g extra (+300 yen). On this day, I visited around 12:30pm. The elegant madam was in charge of the dining area, while the master was in the kitchen. I ordered [b: Fresh pasta Arrabiata (1,150 yen)]. After the meal, I had an iced coffee. The Arrabiata was served on a white, square plate. The homemade fresh pasta was wide tagliatelle. The chewy fresh pasta was delicious with the spicy tomato sauce. The after-meal iced coffee came with vermelen speculoos, a biscuit scented with spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg. This was the chewy homemade fresh pasta we had at the Gramophone Restaurants ~♪
