仙台市で四半世紀の間営業し５月に閉店した「くじら料理 一乃谷」(http://r.tabelog.com/miyagi/A0401/A040101/4003005/)が東京で新規開業。 |
平日12:30頃に伺いました。入りは7割位です。「カウンターのお好きな席にどうぞ。」と、ご案内いただき、奥まった席に陣取りました。
店主は社交的な方で、お客さんに話しかけていただけます。隣に先に掛けておられた方は、関西の方で、関西ではクジラ肉はスーパーで普通に売っているが、東京では見当たらないような話をされていました。
クジラカツの定食をお願いしました。
小皿が２つ付いてきます。
クジラは久しぶりだなぁ、こんなに美味しかったっけなどどおもいながらいただいていると、大将が「わらびって、食べたことある?」と聞いて来られました。「あるような、無いような…」とファジーに答えたら、もう一つ、わらびの小皿をサービスしてくれました。
しばらくして客が私一人になった時、今度は、目の前で寡黙に包丁で下ごしらえされていた職人の方が「売り物にならないから…」とおっしゃって、クジラの皮をサービスしてくれました。
今どき、こんなサービスしてくれる店があるでしょうか?
その上、帰りには大将が見送ってくださいました。
夜はそこそこの支払いになるようですが、ランチのコスパは最高の上にサービス✕2まで付けていただき、感謝感激です。
帰りに店名が気になり、「一乃谷という店名は兵庫県の地名ですか?」と職人さんに伺ったら、「先代が谷一さんというお名前で、それをひっくり返した名前です。」とのことで、納得しました。
人気店なのでしょうが、たまたまが重なり、とても良い気分になりました。
