This is Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) located on Kaede Street near Ochanomizu Station. The shop is located in a secluded area a little further down the driveway from the street. It's a large, general-purpose Izakaya (Japanese-style bar), which is rare these days. However, there have been changes, and smoking is only allowed in the smoking room near the entrance, and orders can also be placed verbally, but as a general rule orders are placed from a smartphone by scanning a QR code. Inside, there are tables lined up in rows, and there is a small raised area in the back, so the layout is just as you would imagine for Izakaya (Japanese-style bar). What I received was ■Fried corn (429 yen) Although it is a chain restaurant, they have several seasonal menus, and this is one of them. They say they use a variety called ``Gold Rush''. I thought it was sweet and delicious, but the young girls seemed to like it and ate it many times. ■Dadacha beans (539 yen) This is also a seasonal menu. It is shipped directly from Tsuruoka Agricultural Cooperative in Yamagata Prefecture. It has more flavor than regular edamame. ■15 small thigh skewers (1,100 yen) They are really small skewers, so you can easily eat just one, but the taste is not bad. It looks like it's baked in-house, rather than pre-heated and frozen, and the effort involved in preparing it makes it delicious. ■Raw Chocolate (429 yen) I didn't try it, but it seemed delicious and the girls kept coming back for it. The strength of chain restaurants is that they have menus like this, and they all maintain a decent quality. Since we were there for quite a long time, we had to drink a lot of alcohol, so the cost was high, but generally it would be around 3,000 to 4,000 yen. It's nice that unlike the old Izakaya (Japanese-style bar), they don't have appetizers. As a result, the price per item seems to be high, so if you eat a lot, it will probably be expensive. The purpose of the restaurant was for a large group of people to come in without reservations and have fun drinking, so it was as expected.
