神保町も一本奥に入るといきなり静かな通りになります。そんな場所にもお店があり、表通りにあるお店よりも個性を感じることもあります。まさにこちらがそうで、こんな場所にピゼリアが⁈ という感じ、青いシェードが印象に残る外観で訪問する機会を狙っていたお店なので、時間に余裕のある時にランチで行ってみることにしました。
通りの角を利用したお店の造りはイタリアの路地にある食堂のよう、とても風情があります。オープンなエントランスを入るとキッチンにシェフ、ホールスタッフは1名というミニマルなオペレーションです。2名席に案内されました。
ピゼリアですがこちらはカレーグランプリにも参加しているので、今回はグランプリメニューの いきなり俺のカレースパゲッティー 1000円、ランチセットにしたので1200円でサラダとドリンクもつけました。まずサラダが来ます。イタリアンでは珍しい柚子のドレッシングのグリーンサラダです。もちろんレタスはシャキシャキ‼︎ キッチンはワンオペなので少し待ち時間がありますが、店内の雰囲気を楽しみつつ待ちます。運ばれてきたパスタは、俺的なネーミングから想像するよりも繊細なもの、ローリエの風味、セロリとトマトがしっかり使われたイタリアンらしいカレーソース、でもカレーにお約束のひよこ豆はちゃんと入っていました(^ ^) 1.7mmのパスタがこのソースとマッチ、イタリア人が聞いたら卒倒する組み合わせですが、これは技ありな一皿だと思いました。アイスコーヒーの冷たさが喉に心地よい清涼感をもたらしてくれて、かなり満足度の高いランチとなりました。
今回はグランプリメニューでした後が、パスタメニューにのっていた「セロリとアンチョビのペペロンチーノ」も美味しそう‼︎ これは自宅で試してみようかしら(^ ^) そしてピゼリアなので、次回はしっかりピザを楽しみに来たいものです。
