神田富山町にあった有薫が、コロナ禍で閉店。
神田駅東口から結構歩く立地のため、
普段から人通りが少なく、閑散しているエリアなのに
コロナでリモートワークとなって
更に人がいなくなった立地で運営していくのは
難しかったのかもしれません。
そしてオープンしたのが当店。
外に出ているメニュー看板を見てみると
海鮮の丼・定食、お肉の定食など
12種類あり、お値段は800円～1,100円。
居酒屋ランチにしては、ちょっと高いよな？
と思っていたら、メニューの右下にある
ベトナムコーヒー 150円
という文字に釘付け。
何でベトナムコーヒー？？？？？？
メニューを見る限り、和食なのに
何でコーヒーはベトナム？？？？？
不思議に思いながら、地下へ。
店内へ入り1名だと告げると
「お好きな席へ」というイントネーションに
「日本人経営じゃないんだ！」と敏感に反応しました。
カウンター席へ座り、
唐揚げと春巻き定食（800円）をオーダー。
お料理が出てくるまで、自然と
厨房の会話が聞こえてきたのですが
全員、日本語じゃありませんでした。
ベトナムコーヒーって書いてあるぐらいだから
きっとベトナム人なのでしょう。
会話の雰囲気から、ご家族っぽい印象をうけました。
日本人じゃないのに、和食でラインナップしたランチは
ある意味凄いなぁと感心していたら、トレーで運ばれてきました。
唐揚げ、春巻き以外にご飯、お味噌汁、冷奴、お漬物といった内容。
唐揚げ、春巻きのプレートにはサラダも添えられています。
早速食べてみると、唐揚げは揚げたてアツアツでジューシー。
味付けもいいです。
春巻きは想像していた春巻きと違うけど
軽い食感で、揚物＋揚物を食べてる罪悪感を感じさせない春巻きでした。
お味噌汁はお箸でかき混ぜると
沈殿したお味噌が少量浮かんでくるお味噌汁。
いただく前は「薄そうなお味噌汁だな」と思ったのですが
大どんでん返し。
確かに味噌の量は少ないのですが、出汁の鰹節が
すごく香るお味噌汁。
予想外に美味しかったです。
ご飯の炊き具合もよく、冷奴とお漬物は可もなく不可もなく。
ダブル揚物なので、ご飯とお味噌汁をお替りしました。
お替りは自由です。
食べる前は、正直不安でしたが、
意外にマトモな定食でした。
これで800円ならCPはまぁまぁいいと思えたランチ。
これから神田で頑張って下さい。
