I wandered around Kanda for about 5 minutes to have a drink. After looking around, I chose this Batten. Near a certain Taiwanese Ramen shop. There are several shops called Batten in Kanda, but this one has a different concept than the others. It's nice that the alcohol is cheap and you can drink it without worrying too much about the price. Order some popular menu items. While the appetizers were served, we toasted with beer. The, Malts. It has a malt-like aroma. Each mug has a motto written on it. If you are interested, you may want to order a variety of them! ★Steamed Gyoza / Dumpling This is a Kyushu specialty and a very popular menu item at bars! Gyoza / Dumpling simmering in chicken broth is a hellish delight. Gyoza / Dumpling itself is packed with filling and has a soft texture, but also feels voluminous. You can add noodles to this soup! Once the pot is lowered, the medium-thick noodles are simmered. Although the flavor has been absorbed by the simmering, the noodles retain their springiness. ★Shumai Assorted shumai on the stairs! Please be sure to take a photo of it. The 5 types are: •Black pork shumai • Seafood shumai •Kinshi egg shumai •Mentaiko shumai •Takana shumai Each one has its own opinion, but the shumai is delicious! I especially liked the mentaiko shumai. The balance is good, so I feel a high degree of perfection. Then, enjoy some sake with the Namul platter! Although it's called namul, it also comes with kimchi, so you can eat it while munching. Hoppy is less than 400 yen, refills are 150 yen, and there's a lot in it! This alone gets me excited and I can't help but drink it. I also ordered chamisul, and while they have a wide selection of Korean Cuisine such as samgyeopsal and stone-grilled bibimbap, they also have classic Japanese Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) menus.
