Today is a day I go to work. On the way home, I got off at Otemachi and walked. I went to the counter at "Torichu" to rehydrate. It was fully booked, but I was able to sit there for a short time. I started with a draft beer. I had a Kirin Heartland. It was a delicious beer. I took a break. Groups of salarymen entered the restaurant one after another. The counter seemed to be mainly for groups. I enjoyed the appetizer. I ordered chicken tataki. Fresh chicken. It was said to be Amakusa Daio. It had a rich flavor that went well with alcohol. The white liver was also cooked. I love Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers), which I eat rare. I was advised to eat it within a few seconds. The draft beer was gone in an instant, so it was time for sake. Let's have some sake from Shimane Prefecture. Let's have Oroku. A rare sake that is hard to find even locally. The rich flavor is irresistible. I continued with the sake. I had Oki from Sugita Sake Brewery in Tochigi Prefecture. This is also a hearty type. It goes perfectly with Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers). A lantern arrived with chicken skin sandwiched between the pieces. This is another Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) that I love. I often had it at Tameike Sanno. To finish off, we had the tsukune with the moon viewing. Rich sake with rich egg yolk. A loud voice drinking at the counter also spoke to us. Let's finish off with shochu. It's Satsumasendai shochu, Rokudaime Yuri. I ordered it on the rocks. There was a reservation for the next table, so I drank it quickly. But it was delicious sake and shochu. I'll have to make a reservation next time. Thank you for the meal.
