マイペースに百名店を巡る日々。遂に行ってきました、カレーの総本山。神田カレーグランプリで頂点に立ったお店です。評価は勿論、口コミの多さも人気ぶりを物語っています。
どうせ混むだろうと思い、ランチタイムを外して行ったのに流石は人気店、階段中腹まで並んでいました。それでも20分ほどで入店できました。
初訪問なのでまずはおすすめのビーフカレーを中辛で注文。まずは噂のじゃがいもとご対面。柔らかく蒸されていて食べやすかったです。
そして念願のビーフカレーは想像していたよりも万人受けする王道の欧風カレーでした。全部が丁度いい塩梅で、特に中辛は辛い物があんまり得意じゃない人(レトルトの中辛と同じぐらいの辛さ)でも美味しく食べられるレベルだと思います。
人はこういうカレーを定期的に食べたくなるんだなと。食べてみて初めて人気の理由が分かりました。私も定期的に行きたいです！
