午後から本社で会議でしたので、その前に神保町で途中下車して、有名なボンディさんに伺いました。神保町カレーGPでグランプリを獲得しているお店です。
古書センターのビルを裏手に回った寂れた通りに入口の階段があります。霧雨降るなか、平日13時40分に訪問、特に並ばずに入れました。7割くらいの埋まり具合でした。
3人かけのカウンターに案内されます。
おすすめはビーフカレー（1600円）とのことなので、まずはそれを中辛でお願いします。ライスは少なめにしてもらいました。
すぐに蒸したジャガイモ二つが届きます。バターが添えてあるので溶かしながら、ティースプーンでいただきます。ジャガイモを途中まで食べ進めたところでメインのカレーとライスが到着。ライスの量はこれでいいですかと確認していただきました（ダメですとは言えませんが、確認していただける心遣いは嬉しいです）。
まずはルーだけを口に運んでみます。おー、コクのある甘めのベースにしっかりとスパイスが効いていて感動レベルの美味しさです。3センチくらいのゴロッとした牛肉がタップリ入っていて、しかもホロホロでスプーンが止まりません。チーズがトッピングされたライスは少しかためにしてあり、カレーとの相性もバッチリです。
小食なのでライス少なめでも十分にお腹いっぱいになりました。今度は違うメニューを試してみたいです。ごちそうさまでした！
