神保町の駅から水道橋の方向に歩いていって中間くらいの地点にあるのが
ライスカレーまんてん
昔ながらの食堂！という感じのルックスのお店に入ると、厨房を囲むカウンター。シブい！
カツカレーを大盛りで注文。これで700円とか、現代で考えられない安さ。
ボリュームたっぷりの、ひき肉入ったカレールーは、家のカレーを究極に突き詰めて辿り着いた到達点！という感じで、懐かしく、おいしく、安心する味。
カツはさくさくのカツ。お店の大将がリズミカルに調理する様を見て、名店だと革新しました。
ほっとして満腹になるカレー。
最初に水と、カップに入った黒い液体が出てきます。
あ、ソースかな？と手を付けずにいたのですが、カレーにかける前に「本当にソースか？」と味を確認、コーヒーでした。
コーヒーまで付いてくるの！？すごすぎ！
