神保町の細い路地裏にて、急な階段を上った先の喫茶店。
3時半頃に向かったところ、ギリギリ席が空いておりすぐに入ることができた。
チーズケーキとブレンドコーヒーを注文。
チーズケーキは甘さ控えめ、卵感強めでとても美味しかった。コーヒーも美味しかった。
店内入って右の長机に通されたのだが、机上に生けてあるユリの花と落ち着いた照明が、木材を基調としたの店内とマッチしていてよい雰囲気だった。
中世ヨーロッパのような絵が印象的だったコーヒーカップや、各椅子の「蔵」のクッションなど、細部のこだわりを感じた。
都内の人気喫茶店は人気ゆえに人の回転が早く、落ち着きのある雰囲気を犠牲にした印象を持ってしまうこともある。しかし、ここは時の流れが止まっているような雰囲気を感じることができた。静かな路地裏という立地のおかげだろうか。
1人で切り盛りしている店主さんの接客もとてもよかった。
