I think this is one of the heartiest Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) lunches around Suidobashi. The large bowl of rice is a little more than normal. If you're having trouble finding chicken nanban, this is probably the place to go in this area. You will receive change for 900 yen. There is a designated smoking area outside. Chicken Nanban has a lot of tartar sauce and the chicken is meaty. The chairs are high and the desk is small, so if there are 2 or 3 people we will sit at the desk, and if there are more people we will use the sunken kotatsu. The menu includes curry, which changes daily, and the specialty seems to be rice bowls. Next time I will order a bowl!
