シャキシャキ山葵のステーキ丼 ¥1,800
JR御茶ノ水駅から明大通りを駿河台下へ向かって左側の歩道を下って行くと明大紫紺館があります。その中にホテル椿山荘が営業しているレストラン。
全てのランチメニューが千円以上…当然ですが学生は全くいません。窓際の眺めのいい席で1時間ゆっくりランチが出来ます
ステーキ丼は普通に美味しいです。ご飯の量が結構ありました。最近は11:30だと予約して行かないと入れないみたいです。コロナ対策で席数を減らしているようです。ゆったりとしたスペースでのんびり食事が出来ます。
ビジネスランチにいいです…業者さんが奢ってくれました

明大駿河台キャンパスの紫紺館5階にあるレストランフォレスタ椿山荘。あの有名なホテル椿山荘が運営しているというだけあって、ここは学生食堂とは一線を画した場所だ。来てみれば分かるが、OBや職員、近隣のサラリーマン、そして住民が主な客層だ。学生がここで食事している姿は一度も見たことがない。それもそのはず、ここは学生のための場所ではないのだ。
さて、今回注文したのはランチメニューの中でも一番リーズナブルなオムライス。見た目からして上品さが漂う。これは喫茶店でよく見るケチャップ味の濃いオムライスとは一味違う。ひと口食べてみると、ホテル椿山荘の名に恥じない、洗練された味わいが口いっぱいに広がる。なるほど、これはいい。上品でありながら、どこかホッとする味だ。
このレストランの良さは、料理だけではない。1時間ゆっくり過ごせるという点も大きな魅力だ。都会の喧騒を忘れ、静かな時間を過ごすことができる。ここに来るたびに、心も体もリフレッシュされる気がする。忙しい日常の中で、こういう場所は貴重だ。
