鳥福さんは、数十のブランドで多くの飲食店を営むダイヤモンドダイニングさんのブランドの一つらしい。東京都内に数店舗あるらしい。
九段下店に対する私のイメージは、焼鳥屋の大衆居酒屋版！
内装は、調度品は黒や濃い茶、間接照明も効果的で全体としてちょっとシックな感じ！
しかしながら、着席すると決して暗くはなく、むしろ明るく感じる。
メニューは、“焼鳥“というしっかりしたベースがある。
その上で、スペシャリテ的なもの、サイドメニュー的なもの、“一点物“的なもの、とバリエーション豊かだ。
様々な客の嗜好に応え、加えてリピート客にも応えようという内容だ。
スタッフは少数精鋭！
ピーク時間帯はかなり忙しそうで、声をかけにくい瞬間がないわけではない。
しかし、特にストレスはなく、違和感もない。
今宵は鶏の水炊きと熱燗でほっこりさせていただくことにした。
先ずは焼鳥を！
皮とハツと砂肝を塩でいただく。
当たり前に美味しい。
これらが美味しくないとなれば、お話にならない。
次は鳥福名物“骨付き鶏もも肉のスパイシー山賊焼“！
鶏もも肉が骨付きで、ドーンと出てくる。
まさに山賊焼である。
肉はジューシー、口に入れるとスパイシーで旨い！
さらに焼鳥やサイドメニューもいくつかいただきながら、熱燗をいただいた。
さて、いよいよ、水炊きである。
スープが火にかけられる。
鶏のコラーゲンと脂だろうか、黄色味を帯びたスープだ。
「まず鶏肉をお召し上がりください。鶏肉をお召し上がられましたら、野菜を入れさせていただきます。」
旨味たっぷりのスープで炊く鶏肉！
旨くて当然である。
鶏肉を頂いた後の野菜も文句なしである。
鶏肉を炊いた後なので、鶏肉の出汁が出ているわけで、美味しいのは自明のこと。
鍋はいつも美味しい！！
残念だったのは、雑炊をいただけなかったことだ。
宴に熱が入ってしまい、時が経つのを忘れてしまった。
またの機会があれば、鍋を頼むと同時に雑炊も頼むこととしよう！
ちょっとシックな鶏屋、鳥福！
赤提灯系の昭和の焼鳥屋も大好きだが、“居酒屋版焼鳥屋“、も悪くない。
