神保町交差点からほど近いイタリアンで、大通りの目立つ場所にあります。ガラス張りの店前を通るたびにずっと気になっていたので、近くで食事した後に一杯だけのつもりで２人で入店してみました。
メニューをみると、イタリアンだけあってワインの種類が豊富です。ドリンクはハウスワインのグラスの赤（530円）と白（530円）を選び、つまみでチーズの盛り合わせ（1310円）のみオーダーしました。
ハウスワインはどちらも期待ほどではなく、個人の好みには合いませんでした。チーズは一口サイズが数種類で、味は普通に美味しかったです。
周りをみると、あふれ枡スプマンテ（770円）を頼んでいる方が多かったので、気になって追加でオーダーしてみました。目の前でなみなみと注いでくれるのですが、もともとのグラスが小さめなので、実際に飲み始めると見かけほどの満足感はありませんでした。
個人的な好みとして、最初に訪れるイタリアンやビストロではハウスワインをよく頼みます。最もリーズナブルな価格帯で提供される入門的なワインだからこそ、その店の全体感や考え方がうかがえるためです。
良いハウスワインに巡り合うと、ハウスワインでこれだけ美味しいならもっとお薦めを試そうとなって、当初は軽く寄ったつもりでも、ついついドリンクもフードも追加オーダーしてしまうことが多くなります。
たかがハウスワイン、されどハウスワインです。この日は個人的な印象としてはあまりお酒が進まず、当初予定した範囲でお店を出ることになりました。
