神保町駅(都営地下鉄)から白山通り徒歩数分、どちらかと言うとJR水道橋駅からが近いかも、多種多様なチャーハンが楽しめる炒飯屋一さん。
メニューを見ながら思考時間が長引きそうなくらいアレコレと迷う。「アリガトゴザイマシタ」片言だが分かりやすい日本語で対応、好感がもてる。
訪日外国人のためなのか English menu なんかも用意、テレビ番組にも取りあげられている人気の店らしい。次からつぎと入店する常連客で店はいっぱいだ。
近隣テーブルから麺をすする音や肉や野菜などの香りが漂う。空腹には酷な状況、数分後に注文したランチ(五目炒飯＋ミニ水餃子)が配膳だ。味・ボリュームともに合格！ごちそう様でした。
