On this day, I went to Jimbocho to buy pasta noodles from Di Martino, which was packaged in collaboration with Dolce & Gabbana. After purchasing the noodles, I returned to Chiyoda-dori and decided to go to our restaurant. The lunch menu has a wide variety of options, from set meals to Noodles sets. I hesitated for a while whether to go for the value set of Tantanmen and half a plate of fried rice (800 yen), or the daily special of gomoku noodles (650 yen) because I wasn't that hungry due to the heat, but I didn't want to eat a small amount and get hungry in the evening, so I decided to go for Tantanmen and half a plate of fried rice and went inside the restaurant. The lunchtime peak was over, so the previous customer was also sitting at a table for four. So I went to an empty table for four. After I finished ordering, I waited for the cold water to come, but there was no sign of it coming, so I called out to the waiter and got some cold water. Apparently, there is always a pot and glass of cold water on the table and you ask for it yourself, but by chance, there was no cold water or glass at the table where I was sitting. A tray was brought to me after a while. In addition to the dandan noodles and half fried rice, it also came with pickled mustard greens and almond tofu. Tantanmen were topped with the usual toppings of meat miso, bok choy, and green onion. The noodles were curly Chinese noodles. When I ate it, the soup was a light type. The sesame and spiciness were a little subdued. The meat miso was topped generously, so you could taste the meatiness. The bowl of Tantanmen was large, so it was quite filling. To be honest, I felt that the dandan noodles alone were enough for me that day, and I slightly regretted ordering the set. The fried rice was made of carrots, green peas, corn, and egg. It served as a garnish to increase the volume, and was a little dry and lightly seasoned. The pickled mustard greens were neither good nor bad. The almond jelly had a smooth texture, was watery and had a light flavor. Overall, the seasoning was light, but to put it negatively, the flavor was a little weak. The portion was excellent. I think it was just the right amount for men. For women, it may be too much. For 800 yen, it was definitely a good deal. Payment was possible with PayPay. I ate too much. It's going to be even hotter from tomorrow. Let's have a smaller lunch for a while. Keep up the good work. Thank you for the meal.
