I'm Kanda Curry Meister and a geisha. The first floor is [a:13249258,Tokachi Herb Beef Hormone Teppanyaki], and the second floor is [a:13238407,Tokachi Herb Beef Hormone MONMOM], which are registered on Tabelog. "Tokachi Herb Beef" is the in-house brand of the livestock industry Novels Group, and MONMOM is a directly managed store of Novels Foods Co., Ltd. Tokachi Herb Beef is a "cross breed" born from crossing a male Wagyu beef with a female dairy cow. In other words, [u: it is not "Wagyu beef"]. Since it is crossed with a dairy cow, the taste is inferior, but the aim is to achieve good growth of dairy cows. In addition, it is produced by "one-calf fattening", which fattens [u: female cows after giving birth to calves]. Generally, the market value of cows that have given birth is lower than that of heifers, but it seems that the aim is to improve the efficiency of beef production as a whole by producing calves. On this day, I stopped by a little before 7pm. Inside the store, there are 6-7 seats at the U-shaped counter at the front and back. There were no customers there. I ordered [b: Hokkaido White Hormone Curry (1,200 yen)] at the U-shaped counter at the front. It seems the cooking is done on the second floor. After a while, the Hokkaido White Offal Curry arrived. It was served with round rice, beige curry, and a spicy tomato sauce. Sliced cheese was on top of the white curry. The white curry was like a house stew and contained Tokachi Herb Beef offal, which was quite difficult to chew. There were dried up parts mixed in with the rice. I managed to get through it with the spicy tomato sauce.
