[3 minutes from Jimbocho Station] Enjoy A5-ranked branded wagyu beef from Kyushu in a relaxing atmosphere
At our restaurant, you can enjoy A5 rank Wagyu beef purchased directly from livestock companies at a reasonable price. Wagyu beef from Kyushu, which has won awards at competitions, is distinguished by |
It's Yakiniku (Grilled meat) again this time. I find myself craving meat several times a month, so this time I contacted the restaurant in advance as a reservation is required. The restaurant is "Jinbo Meat Dishes". You can check the restaurant's location on Tabelog The restaurant has 1 to 3 floors, with the 1st floor offering reasonable single order meals, the 2nd floor offering 2 types of courses, and the 3rd floor being a members-only floor. This time I'm going to be covering myself in meat on the 1st floor! This restaurant apparently uses A5 rank brand wagyu beef from Kyushu. So, what should I eat first? "Salted Skirt Steak" 1,100 yen. It said it was available in limited quantities, so I ordered that first. Skirt steak is often eaten with sauce, but as it is a cut with a strong umami flavor, it is also very satisfying to eat it simply with salt. "Green Pepper" 330 yen. The vegetables that come as wrappings are a lineup of lettuce, perilla leaves, and green peppers. Green peppers are a versatile vegetable that can be used as wrapping vegetables, grilled, or just munched on in between meals. Their moderate bitterness is a great accent to the meat. "Top Kalbi" 528 yen x 2. Top Kalbi, with its beautiful marbling, can only be ordered one portion per person. Two portions cost 1,056 yen, which is an incredible deal considering the quality of the meat. I recommend ordering with the maximum number of people in the restaurant. "Real Wasabi Top Loin" 1,100 yen. The umami of the meat and the sweetness of the fat make the spiciness of the wasabi mild, and the aroma really comes through. As you get older, you start to like eating it like this. "Red Tongue" 880 yen. I ordered red tongue from the blackboard menu. Red tongue is what is known as the tongue tip. This part of the tongue has well-developed muscles and is low in fat, so the more you chew it, the more flavor it releases. "Senmai sashimi" 638 yen. Order the sashimi in between grilling. The chewy texture of the senmai is perfect for resetting your mouth. If you can plan your order taking into account not only taste but also texture, you too can become a Yakiniku (Grilled meat) master! "Chateaubriand" 2,200 yen Thickly cut chateaubriand♪ As it is a premium cut, great care must be taken when cooking it. By using low and high heat wisely and cooking it properly without overcooking it, you will enjoy an exquisite pleasure in your mouth. "Seared Liver" 748 yen My companion does not like liver and can't eat it, so I had it by myself. The flavor of this blood and the unique texture of liver are irresistible. It's also rich in iron and is delicious enough to seep into your tired body. And now, the series where I got drunk and forgot to take photos "Lean Hanging Sagari" 748 yen You can choose from garlic, salt or miso sauce, but I went with salt this time. Hanging Sagari is a part around the diaphragm like skirt steak, and some restaurants may serve it as the same skirt steak, but the taste is slightly different. Hanging Sagari has less fat so it is closer to lean meat... I don't really need to explain at this point that skirt steak and hanging steak are not lean meat but offal, right? "Top quality tripe" 770 yen Here we go with the top quality tripe for a change of texture. The enjoyment of this texture makes the beer taste even better. "Tasty and spicy offal platter" 1,100 yen As an offal lover, my last order was also offal. As it was an assortment, it overlapped with the liver I had earlier, but the delicious and spicy seasoning gave it a different feel. Now, on to Yakiniku (Grilled meat) dishes. "Japanese Black Beef Curry" 748 yen. A curry made with leftover meat, unique to yakiniku restaurants, and because it is Japanese Black Beef, it has a rich feel to it. Here, Yakiniku (Grilled meat) and curry master's way of eating it is to top it with the leftover meat! The curry rice, with its enhanced meat flavor, is enough to easily eat another plate. "Gomtan Soup" 550 yen. Along with the curry, we also had the hot Gomtan soup. It was manly to gulp it down without letting it cool down, even though it was boiling hot and almost burning. Finally, for dessert, we had "Catalana" 352 yen and "Ramune Sorbet" 308 yen. This time, I also thoroughly enjoyed the meat. ...But this was when I went there a while ago, but it seems to have closed down quite recently. It seems like a lot of restaurants around here have closed down recently... It's a shame. Thank you for the meal.
