I headed towards Jimbocho for lunch without any particular aim. This relatively recently opened menu sign caught my eye, so I decided to go here that day. When you go down the stairs and enter the store, you will be guided to a table seat in the back on the right. One customer was eating cold soy milk dandan noodles. I decided to try the classic fried chicken set meal from the lunch menu. This restaurant offers 3 to 5, 6 to 8, and 9 to 12 pieces of fried chicken for the same price. I was thinking of making 3 to 5 pieces, but I wasn't sure how many pieces to use, so I asked the female clerk at the hall how big each piece was, and she said it was quite large. After hearing that, I would like to order 4 pieces (800 yen) a little more modestly. Since I had to get the rice by myself, I immediately went to where the jar was. I took a quick dip, picked some chopped kuwan and homemade tartar sauce, and went to my seat. The air conditioning is weak in the store, and even after entering the store from the intense heat outside, I can't stop sweating. In such a situation, it was served in about 6 minutes of waiting. From what I saw, the size of the fried chicken wasn't as big as I expected, and I was glad there were only 5 pieces. With this in mind, I immediately put the first piece of fried chicken into my mouth. The friedness is just right and the outside is crispy. It's not super juicy, but the inside is just right. The seasoning is a little light, and you can eat it as is, but I thought it would be better to add something to it, so I decided to serve it with homemade tartar sauce. The homemade tartar had a strong sour taste, so I guess it's not bad at all. Add plenty of tartar and eat the second and third pieces. The rice in the jar is cooked to just the right consistency. Enjoy it with the fried chicken while snacking on chopped kuwan along the way. While I was eating, it seemed like L.O. time had arrived, and inside the restaurant, the staff was changing the table settings in preparation for the evening business. I continued eating while watching this scene. I was wondering if I should have a second helping of rice, but decided against it that day and ate mainly fried chicken, which was a quick and complete meal. It depends on the number of items you choose, but I think the cost performance is not bad. In the still hot weather, I cooled down with a cold drink before paying the bill.
