Private rooms available by reservation only. Enjoy a relaxing time in a Japanese setting as you experience the changing seasons.
This Japanese Cuisine restaurant serves food and drinks made with carefully selected ingredients in a private room, by reservation only. This restaurant was founded in 1930, but was actually renovated |
Used for company dinners. Relax in a quaint private room. ******************************************** Visited during lunchtime on a weekday. Since it was a company dinner, I made a reservation about a month in advance. The nearest station is Toudaimae Station, but this time, after meeting up in Ueno, I took a taxi. As soon as I entered the restaurant, I was greeted by the scent of cypress. A young female proprietress greeted me with a smile. I was shown to my room and sat down in a chair. There was a hanging scroll in the room and a vase in the tokonoma alcove. Time passed slowly in the quaint atmosphere. I left the cooking to the head chef. I wasn't able to take pictures of everything, but the atmosphere was cool and summery. I enjoyed several types of summer sake, and the hours flew by. This is a recommended restaurant for entertaining and dinners. ********************************************
