２０１７年１０月下旬。
昨日は午前中、本郷の東大球場でのオープン戦「東京メッツ対東大（B）戦」を観戦。試合は７対３で東京メッツの勝利。東京メッツは社会人クラブチーム。東大は２年生と１年生のチーム。終わってから一人ランチ。そういえば東大内に話題のイタリアンがあったなと思い行ってみた。東大球場がある農学部の隅から赤門までは、結構、距離がある。赤門を入り直進。郵便ポストを右折して突き当りの「医学教育研究棟」へ入り１３階のこちらへ到着。土曜日なので構内は閑散としているが、こちらのレストランは、ほぼ満席。入ってい右奥の個室と左奥でパーティが行われていた。正面奥に窓からの眺望が良いカウンター席。手前にテーブル席。ホール係の女性に一人と告げるとカウンター席で良いですかと聞かれ、嫌とも言えず従って案内される。ところが私も爺さんで注意不足なのか女性の後に付き従って行ったところ１４階への石の階段の裏側の斜めになっているところに頭が激突。結構、痛かった。内心、何故、こんな狭いところを誘導するのかとムカッとしたが我慢。カウンター席で１０食限定の「カポコース」１２９０円にした。前菜、パスタ、デザート、パン、ドリンクのコース。前菜は「パルマ産生ハムのサラダ仕立て」。生ハムが美味しい。パスタは「蟹とほうれん草のクリームソース」。このパスタ料理は美味しかった。デザートは「ガトーショコラ」。ドリンクは紅茶、コーヒーなどから選べるが紅茶を選択。お値段を考えれば十分に満足。先ほどの席案内の女性が、「頭は大丈夫ですか、冷たいタオルで冷やしますか」と尋ねてきたが少し、擦り傷が出来ているだけなので断った。夜は、アラカルトもあり、夜のコース料理は４３２０円から。東大本郷キャンパスは広いので、あらかじめ場所を調べていかないと分からないがカジュアルイタリアンとしてお薦めのお店だ。
