今日は本郷で用事、途中休憩でこちらにお邪魔しました。
本郷界隈特集では必ず取り上げられる喫茶店のひとつです。
店名は夏目漱石の小説「こゝろ」から、というのが何とも知性を感じさせますね。
食事メニューでは"ウィンナライス"という、赤いウィンナの懐かしいご飯が人気です。
本日は時間が無かったので、すぐに出来そうなカレーを注文。
【カレー】
よく煮込まれたチキンカレー、家庭風ですが程よいスパイシーさです。
【アイスココア】
優しいミルクココアです、オマケのお菓子にBOURBONエリーゼがついてました。
このお菓子のチョイスが昭和のお茶の間みたいで嬉しい！
レジにおじいさん、そして細長い一階客席のまん中に息子さん？
すっと立って客席に目配りされてるようです。
友人が私のカレーを一口味見していたらすかさず
「スプーンをもうひとつお持ちしましょうか？」とおっしゃって下さいました。
店内は3組ほど6人のお客さん、平日午後の2:30過ぎ、皆さん東京大学関係者の様。
落ち着いてアカデミックな雰囲気で会話なさってます。
お店に飾られてる本もこの場所に似つかわしい真面目なタイトルが並んでますが、
頭を休めたい為の休憩なので、私はイラストのみの本をパラパラめくります。
行儀良く並んだレザーの椅子とテーブル、昭和テイストの真面目な喫茶店です。
気分転換できました、ご馳走さまでした。
