東大前駅から歩いて3,4分の東京大学の向かい側にある歴史ある喫茶店です。お昼ご飯のために立ち寄り、カレーライスを520円でいただきました。
カレーは懐かしい家庭的なカレーで特筆すべきことはないのですが、お菓子のホームパイが1個デザートに添えられていたのがお母さんの優しさみたいな温かさを感じました。
そして懐かしい昭和30年代から変わらないであろう店内のインテリアはお店の歴史を物語っています。推測するに、ご主人が入口近くのレジに座っており、息子さんがウエイター役。お母様が厨房に入っていると思われます。ご家族で営まれているようでした。厨房の見えるカウンターの横に座ったので、お母様が料理をしているのを見ることができました。
帰りにレジのご主人に、どのくらいお店をやられているのかを聞くと65年という返事が^ ^
店に歴史あり。人に歴史あり。レジもピンク電話も歴史もので写真を撮らせていただきました^ ^
