2022年1月某日の17時過ぎに訪ねた。
春日駅から徒歩1分の場所にある「CoCo壱番屋 文京区春日駅前店」。
程好い広さの店内には先客3名ほど。
カウンター席に1人で座り「海の幸スープカレー」¥975＋「4辛」¥88で注文。
7,8分ほど待って提供される。
特製スパイスと共にスープカレー、ライスがやって来る。
海鮮具材としてアサリ、エビ、イカが入っており、野菜はオクラ、キャベツ、ニンジン、ジャガイモ、ナスと盛り沢山。半分にカットしたゆで玉子があるのも嬉しい。
ライスの横に卓上の福神漬けをたっぷり添えてスープカレーをかけて味わう。しっかりとダシの旨味が感じられる海の幸スープカレーは実に美味しい。4辛も良い選択であった。
ココイチのカレーでトッピング出来るものがスープカレーに入っているが、どれも違和感なく馴染んでいる。イカは揚げたものだが、薄い衣にカレースープが馴染むと良い味わいになる。
アサリとエビもたっぷり入っており、海の幸をしっかり楽しめる。キャベツの食感も心地好く、野菜も満喫出来る。
特製スパイスも振りかけて、風味を加えながらしっかりと最後まで海の幸スープカレーを堪能。決して安い値段では無いが、満足感はあった。
他の店舗に比べるとホスピタリティに欠ける印象ではあったが、カレーの味は良かった。ココイチのスープカレーはまた食べることになるだろう。具材のバランスが良くクセになる味であった。
