[What is the original brand chicken Xiang Chicken?] Xiang Chicken is an original brand chicken that inherited the lineage of the "Buff Cochin" that was used for breeding Nagoya Cochin (Chiang Kai-shek liked the taste and moved it from China to Taiwan) The original breed is chickens, for which there is an anecdote that they were brought into the area. Xiang Chicken has its roots in Hsinchu, northern Taiwan, which is famous as a treasure trove of high-quality chicken. The original breed was inherited in 1988, and the previous president, Yasuhiro Matsumoto, successfully bred it in Japan. In addition, because the chicken has less of the odor that is characteristic of chicken, it can be eaten in a way that brings out the flavor of the ingredients without much preparation. 空き物件に新しくできた鳥八に行きました。
ランチは全て７８０円で、
香鶏親子丼
香鶏焼き鳥丼
鶏塩支那そば
唐揚げ定食
天然刺身定食
焼き鳥丼にしようかと思いつつも、
メニューの始めにあった香鶏親子丼にしました。
「香鶏」（かおりどり）はグループ会社で育成から生産まで一元管理していて、
パブコーチンと烏骨鶏の血統を継承しているとのこと。
ふーん、なんて思っていたら、７分程で出てきました。
親子丼にサラダ、新香に味噌汁。
鶏スープじゃないのね・・・。
親子丼はなかなか旨そうなフォルム。
玉子はもう少し半熟でもいいように思います。
鶏はもっとふんだんに入ってほしいところだし、
旨みが濃い？とまではいっていない。
決して不味いわけではないのですが、もう一押し二押し欲しいところ。
これだったら神田の伊勢の方に足が向いてしまいます。
また１４時くらいに伺ったのですが、
奥の席にはポット等が雑然と置かれていたり、
店員さんが奥で雑談をしているのが聞こえたりと、
雰囲気にも難がありました。
