About 3 minutes walk from Hongo Sanchome Station. We visited Nikutei Futago Iki Hongo 3-chome branch, which is tucked away in a back alley near the University of Tokyo. This is a popular restaurant where you can enjoy Kurokaba Beef from Kumamoto Prefecture in a high-quality atmosphere. This time I used it as an anniversary on Sunday at 5:30pm. As soon as you enter the entrance, you'll be greeted by Ryokan-like space, and when you use the intercom outside to inform them of your reservation, a staff member will open the door and guide you. The room is completely private and you can also see the garden. After explaining the details and ordering drinks, the course menu was brought out one item at a time. 〜Course Menu〜 ☑︎Stylish Yukhoe ☑︎Assortment of 6 types of kimchi and namul ☑︎Nigiri Sushi with sea urchin☑︎Thick-sliced tongue with salt and top tongue with salt ☑︎Top loin grilled with salt ☑︎Nikutei salad ☑︎Sirloin soup roll ☑︎Black birch beef fillet ☑︎Stylish TK G ☑︎Authentic Sweet Potato Vanilla First of all, ``Stylish Yukhoe'' Black birch beef yukhoe is combined with branded egg Ranno. Mix well and enjoy the first bite as is, and the second bite with a bite-sized portion of rice. Every time you bite into it, the flavor, sauce, and richness of the egg yolk combine to create an exquisite dish. There are 6 types of ``Kimchi and Namul'', 3 types each. The lineup changes depending on the season, and includes white asparagus, Japanese mustard spinach, and yams. Meat Sushi is ``Sea urchin Sushi.'' Meat with just the right amount of marbling, plenty of sea urchin, and your favorite wasabi. I'm not good at sea urchin or wasabi, but I think this one was very easy to eat and had a good balance of flavors. From here, the shichirin is carried in a pottery. Let's start with the tongue. The staff will slowly grill the thick slices. Rather than frying it quickly, the restaurant's method is to check the doneness and make sure it's crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Although it's thickly sliced, it's plump and easy to eat ♪ The ``upper loin'' and ``upper tongue salt'' are just lightly grilled. The wasabi here is less spicy, so if you like it, you can add plenty of it.The "Nikutei Salad" is a good way to cleanse your palate.They serve one leaf at a time on a plate for two people. The dressing is corn.This is where it gets better. A large sirloin is spread with wasabi and grilled, topped with broccoli sprouts and topped with dashi stock. This is absolutely delicious. The main dish, ``Black Birch Beef Fillet,'' is grilled thoroughly and cut and plated right in front of you. Although it is voluminous, it is soft and smooth to the touch. It's delicious on its own, but I personally prefer it with soy sauce ✨ To finish it off, it's ``Stylish TKG.'' It seems like it went viral on Instagram, and the egg yolk used in the secret sauce from the box is added to the rice! Enjoy the rich TKG as an accent to the condiments. Dessert is ``Homemade Sweet Potato Vanilla.'' The sweet potato is brûléed and has a crispy surface. The ice cream was served with one dessert spoon each so that it was easy to eat. At the end, we were provided with tea and yogurt to drink, so we were completely satisfied. The delivery speed is neither too fast nor too slow, which I personally feel is just right. It was a great experience with this kind of space and high-quality food, and I want to come again! Thank you for the meal✨
