| Remarks |
The first generation chef was the one who created the dish called "Pork Cutlet" in 1930. In 1963, it became the model for Toei's movie "Pork Cutlet Ichidai". The second generation appears in the opening scene of the movie, as the ``hand'' frying the ``katsu'' and in the scene of the pig memorial service. The surrounding area has changed from being a black-walled teahouse to a building, but our store has not changed at all since then, allowing you to enjoy the atmosphere of the Showa era. |
久々に同店訪問。酷暑の日々が続くのだが、近くを通り過ぎたので、どうしても足が向いてしまった。
で、特ロース単品と豚汁を注文。
この暑いのに熱いお茶という状態だが、「暑い時こそ熱いものを」と年配の方々は言ってたな、と。ただ現代は異常気象ですが…
さて、特ロースが目の前のラードの油で揚げられる。そして豚汁も豚の脂が溶け出す。
そうか、チャーハンとかも結局ラードで炒めるから美味しいのよね。
ちなみに、同店はとんかつも美味しいけど、ホタテとかエビコロッケ、肉団子も美味しいよ。今日は一人だったし、暑過ぎて然程食欲もなかったので頼まなかったけど。
