Remarks |
The first generation chef was the one who created the dish called "Pork Cutlet" in 1930. In 1963, it became the model for Toei's movie "Pork Cutlet Ichidai". The second generation appears in the opening scene of the movie, as the ``hand'' frying the ``katsu'' and in the scene of the pig memorial service. The surrounding area has changed from being a black-walled teahouse to a building, but our store has not changed at all since then, allowing you to enjoy the atmosphere of the Showa era. |

珍道中東京路日帰り編のランチタイムは上野御徒町界隈。
阪神タイガース岡田監督が開幕前に立ち寄ると以前に聴いていたカツの老舗『井泉』さんを訪ねました。
昼過ぎでしたが表には数人の行列。
案外待つことなくお二階の座敷へ案内されました。
オーダーは、私がロース定食1,600円也、連れはヒレかつ定食2,100円也。
配膳までしばらく時間がかかりました。
ちなみにお茶は懐かしい店名入りの湯呑みにセルフで戴きます。
そしていよいよ到着。
案内された方から順次運ばれてきます。
まずはメインのかつ、次に豚汁、最後に白ご飯とお漬け物が運ばれます。
卓上にあるとんかつソースと辛子を運んでお好みの味に仕上げます。
そして一口。
柔らかい。
そして脂っこくない。
それでいてジューシー。
さすが、長年の老舗ですね。
また、
豚汁がまた美味しい!
具材がごろごろと存在を主張しすぎないのに、味はしっかりと主張して来ます。
一番お安い定食でしたが、本当に美味しいとんかつでした。
