There are many recommended Sweets. There are Chocolate parfaits, fruit parfaits, cream anmitsu, Other various other cakes. If you order a cake set now (1,250 yen), you will receive a hugging panda (for an unlimited period). You can even wear it on your arm (very popular with children). In the summer, they also have shaved ice (Ice cream is also included). |
上野駅の不忍口を出て高架下の横断歩道を渡ったすぐのところにある、大人気の喫茶店。
100席くらいあるハズなのに昼から夜までずっと満席で、なんなら階段の下までずらっと列が出来てます。
ただこれだけ席数があるので、思っているほど待ち時間は長くない印象。
ご覧の通り、少しだけバブリーな雰囲気漂う、ザ・昭和レトロなインテリア。
学生時代死ぬほどお世話になった新宿の『珈琲西武』にエクステリア含めて似ており、個人的には妙な安心感があります。
パキッと映える赤チェックの制服を着た女性スタッフ達がまたタイムスリップを加速させる。
私はケーキセットで、ミルクレープとアイス珈琲を。
ちなみにケーキセットだと1,300円で済みます(?)が、
ケーキ単品だと1,000円で、珈琲単体だと800円前後です。
この客入りでこの価格設定...カフェや喫茶店は客単価に対して回転率が悪いのでそれなりに高くても"寛ぎ代"を払っているつもりで納得していますが、それでも超儲かってるんじゃないでしょうか。笑
パフェもケーキも珈琲もそんなに拘りを持って作ってる訳ではなさそうですし。
まあこういう雰囲気は今や若者の中でも人気があって結果的に老若男女取り込めちゃってますし、
実際居心地自体はかなり良かったのでそんなに並んでなければまた休憩に使っちゃうんだろうな。
食事だけならなんてことない、ただ割高な喫茶店なのですが、
立地や雰囲気、居心地を評価して3.5にしておきます。
