串焼きを出す店のほとんどは自分の店で刺していないし、炭で焼いていない。
この串八珍もその両方をやっているのかどうか知らないが、
その両方をやっている味がする。
炭焼きはやっているようだ。
じっくりと焼いてくれ、鶏皮などは焦げるまで焼いてくれるように必ず頼む。
それが鶏皮の一番おいしい焼き方だと信じているからだ。
ほかの串焼きも一様にうまい。
普通におかしなことをせずに、いい肉をいい串に刺して、いい炭に、上手に焼いてくれている。
なんとかマヨとか、そういうのはいらない。
昔からある味を食べたいときに行く店。
ビール、枝豆、冷や奴、冷やしトマト、もつ煮込み、串焼きを１０本ほど。
これに、追加で厚揚げ、焼き魚、日本酒などといきたい。
この店の姿勢を変えずにずっと続けてほしいと思う店である。
実に正直な名店チェーンだと思う。
はやく店内禁煙にしてくれ。
