上野にある国立博物館に併設された、
オークラのレストラン。
和洋中カバーしたラインナップが特徴。
昼の訪問で45分待ちとありましたが、
となりの東洋館で時間を潰しているとあっという間に時間が経ちました。
案内まで実際25〜30分程度でした。
きのこと鮭・いくらの海鮮丼 1320円
カツカレー1700円
半チャーハン300円
半チャーハンは何にでもつけられるサブメニュー。
半チャーハンは焼き置きのレンチンで、
器がとても熱い。
チャーハン自体は本格中華の片鱗があるようなないような…くらい。普通な感じ。
きのこと鮭・いくらの海鮮丼はいくらが沢山で美味しい。
1320円は安いと思う。
カツカレーは東京競馬場のオークラレストランと同じ味のカレーで美味しい。
フルーティーで酸味が立った味わい。
辛さはほぼなくまろやかな味わいのカレーです。
カツは柔らかい感じでたまに食べたくなるカツカレー。
サラダ添えです。
さすがオークラな安定感のあるレストランでした。
国立博物館は国宝・重文が山程収蔵された博物館で、
遮光器土偶や踊る埴輪など教科書レベルなものが目白押し。
個人的にはゲームなどでも再現されている緋色な小早川秀秋の陣羽織と実物の村正に感動を覚えました。
