上野駅は北の玄関口である。
東北新幹線は東京からも出ているが、
何と言っても上野から出発した方が気分が良い。
売店で駅弁を買う。
＊秋田新幹線開業１５周年記念弁当1,100円。
鮭塩焼、ばっけ（ふきのとう醤油漬）、比内地鶏照焼、
ぜんまい五目煮、かすべ（エイヒレ）唐揚、
ハタハタ入り蒲鉾天ぷら、舞茸天ぷら、赤パプリカ、
野菜煮物（里芋・筍・人参・牛蒡、蕗、じゅんさい餡）、
山菜醤油漬（とんぷり）、
ご飯
（契約栽培農家による有機認証米秋田県産あきたこまち）、
うめぼし、いぶりがっこ。
東北の郷土色あふれる内容だ。
”ばっけ”はふきのとうの事。
雪の中から顔を出す淡い緑色の花芽は、
北の方々には特別な思い入れがあるのだろう。
