This time, I met up with a friend from my school days in Ueno, and we went to this restaurant. A friend who was visiting Tokyo wanted to eat shabu shabu in Ueno, and found this restaurant for me. It's right next to the Shinobazu exit of Ueno Station. It's on the third floor of a building. The restaurant has box seats, which are just right for 3-4 people. This time, I chose the all-you-can-eat Kuroge Wagyu beef course to be a little extravagant. You can choose between two types of shabu shabu dashi: the standard kelp dashi and the recommended Sukiyaki dashi. First, I ordered a drink and waited for the food to arrive. First, an assortment of vegetables and mushrooms arrived, as well as a set of meats including Kuroge Wagyu beef ribs, loin, pork, and chicken. There was a lot of food on the table! Since it was all-you-can-eat this time, I kept putting meat into the pot and ate until I was full! The meat was about the same quality as a major shabu shabu-shabu chain. The restaurant itself has Izakaya (Japanese-style bar)-like atmosphere, but the meat you can eat was quite delicious. The price is reasonable, and I think it's cheaper than a chain restaurant. The side menu is also well-stocked, from snacks to toppings, so it can also be used for drinking parties. We enjoyed the meat and vegetables to the point that they even poured more soup stock over us. Overall, it was good value for money, and the atmosphere was one where you could enjoy all-you-can-eat at your own pace. I thought this was a hidden gem of a shabu shabu restaurant in the Ueno Station area. Thank you for the meal!
