上野駅パンダ橋口から徒歩3分、カプセルホテルの1階に入る「for bal meat（フォーバルミート）」にお邪魔してきました。居心地の良い陽気でカジュアルな店内、そして何といってもボリューム満点のお料理たちが嬉しいお店。
先ずは前菜の盛り合わせに驚かされました。ローストビーフのサラダに炙り秋刀魚と里芋のサラダ、ヒラマサのカルパッチョ、無花果のチーズディップ、鶏のマスタードマリネ、ラタトゥイユ。脂の乗った炙り秋刀魚が悶絶の美味しさでした。
茸のピッツァは薄いながらに小麦の味わいが楽しめるクリスピー生地と香りの良いたっぷりの茸が秋を感じる逸品です。真鯛のソテーはネギと白ワイン、バターのソースでいただきます。グリル野菜が添えられ食べ応えの抜群。折角なので白ワインといただきました。
黒毛和牛の内ももとハラミの盛り合わせはバルサミコとオイルでいただきます。噛むほどに味わい深い赤身肉が美味しい。ラムの煮込みがアミューズスプーンに乗せられていたり、お皿が温められていたりと細やかなホスピタリティが嬉しいですね。お口直しのキャロットラペが添えられていました。
秋刀魚とアサリのパスタはアルデンテ。飲んだ後にもぺろりといけちゃうシンプルなオイルパスタ！秋刀魚の脂とアサリから出た出汁で旨味たっぷり。
さらにデザートはパイナップルのシャーベットとかぼちゃとホワイトチョコのケーキの盛り合わせ。最後はカフェもいただけて大満足でした。ボリュームもコスパも申し分なしの1軒です。
