I had passed by this restaurant many times during lunch time, but somehow it seemed uneasy to enter, so I passed it by. I wanted something hearty, so I went in and selected the "Aimori Set Meal" from the menu. Yes, this was a hit! The Ueno area is a Yakiniku (Grilled meat) paradise, but I don't think there are many restaurants that offer this amount of meat of this quality at this price. Is it just one piece of kalbi different from the 1,200 yen kalbi set meal ordered by the person next to me? For an extra 600 yen, you get loin and skirt steak, so you get more than double the amount of meat? You can also have rice refills, and the set includes salad, namul & kimchi, soup, and a drink, and you can smoke (lol). I'll come here again when I want a hearty lunch.
