I landed in Ueno at 12:00 on a weekday when it was crowded, and the one place I had originally set my eyes on was full, the second choice was also full, and the shop I randomly found was cash only, so I wandered around feeling like I was crying. While I was there, I found a person who appeared to be an office worker leaving the store. Was there one clerk who immediately pushed himself into the door and smiled? he asked. I wasn't really in the mood to eat Chinese food, so even when I looked at the set menu, I couldn't quite figure it out. Hmm, I was wondering what to have, and when I looked at the back of the menu, I found knife-cut noodle! Is this the one that's crunching? So I ordered it right away. I can't imagine the taste at all, so I wonder if it's refreshing or rich? It came as soon as I thought about it. Did you do a shu-shu-shu? When you eat the soup, you can taste the faint spicy taste of star anise! Looks like Chinese! Is this the noodles? When I tried eating it, it turned out to be bean sprouts. Eh, which ones are noodles? When I stirred the deep bowl with chopsticks, something that looked like shimen came out! This guy! When I ate it, it was more chewy than I expected! It was delicious. I ordered the beef knife-cut noodle, and the beef was plump and delicious. The vegetables were also very tasty. I'm the type of Ramen that likes Kamiza and Ayaka Ramen, but I somehow thought that people who like those types of ramen would enjoy it even more. Almond tofu as a side dish? Something like that was a bit of a mixed bag...it's such a shame. However, I think it was a suitable restaurant for my debut knife-cut noodle!
