I visited around 12 o'clock on a Saturday in July 2021. ``Sarari'' is a set meal restaurant where you can eat handmade udon noodles, located next to the APA Hotel, about a 3-4 minute walk from Ueno Station. There was only one customer in the not-so-large store. I sat alone at a table and ordered ``Fish Set Meal Selected by the Fish Shop'' from the lunch menu for ¥980. You can have rice and miso soup or udon as a side dish, but I ordered rice and udon. It takes about 7 or 8 minutes to be served. The main fish dish is mackerel boiled in mizore. It comes with rice, miso soup, salad, Small dish, and pickles. Mizore-ni (stewed in sleet) with mackerel meat soaked in flavor. It's perfect as a side dish with rice. Enjoy the rice and miso soup while nibbling on a small salad and Small dish of Kinpei burdock root. The mackerel boiled in mizore is delicious, but I'm glad I can get a second helping. Savor the mackerel to the end while enjoying plenty of white rice. I enjoyed a fish set meal that had a nice flavor. The prices are a little high, but I'm grateful for the fact that I can enjoy a set meal in a calm and clean interior. Next time I visit, I would like to try this restaurant's recommended handmade udon.
