上野駅からすぐの好立地にお店を構えるお寿司屋さん。
ミシュランで星を獲得し続けている天ぷらの名店、「よこ田」さんが母体となっており、お寿司だけでなく天ぷらも併せて楽しめるお店です。
カウンターだけでなく個室も複数完備しており、幅広い用途で活用可能となります。
■メニュー
ディナーのコースは7,900円のおまかせ握りから、15,000円の極上おまかせ握りまで、合計4種類がラインナップ。
この日は15,000円の極上お任せ握りコースをオーダーしました。

■感想
お店のコンセプト通り、ハイレベルなお寿司と天ぷらを同時に楽しむことが出来ました。
大将はお寿司だけでなく、様々なバックグラウンドを持たれているようで、型にはまらないアプローチが随所に見られて面白かったです。
お寿司で特に印象に残っているのは、鯖の握り。
非常に良く脂の乗っている鯖は、締め鯖で提供するのではなく、軽く赤酢で締めることによって脂の甘味を活かしたまま楽しめます。
天ぷらは合計5品が登場。
アスパラや海老といった定番の天ぷらが美味しいのはもちろんのこと、ヤングコーンの天ぷらの美味しさに驚きました。
揚げることで甘みが非常に強くなり、とうもろこしと同じような甘さが感じられました。
大将がオススメしてくれる日本酒も素晴らしいラインナップ。
特にこの日は、山形でしか買えない上喜元の限定ラベルが置いてあり、運よく飲ませて頂くことが出来ました。
上野でお寿司を食べる際には、またこちらに伺いたいと思います。
