上野駅ちかく、上野の森さくらテラス内でインド／タイ料理の店HALKAを発見、突入しました。前回このあたりに来たときには別の店だった気がするので、たぶん開店して半年程度だと思います。
さくらテラス全体のイメージに合わせてか、内装はきれいであまりエスニック料理店という感じがしません。ランチメニューはインド料理のターリー8種、ガパオやパッタイなどタイ料理7種、ベトナム料理のフォー、ネパール料理のチャウメンと多彩です。
チキンビリヤニ1,180円（税込）。ライタ（ヨーグルトサラダ）とカレー1種がつきます。…まぁ、味は悪くないのですが、正直に言えば上野駅近くにはハリマ・ケバブ・ビリヤニという非常に美味しいビリヤニの店がありますからね…どうしても評価が辛くなってしまいますね…。とはいえ駅のすぐ近くで上野公園からは直結とアクセスがよく、ランチタイムが16時までと長いので博物館・美術館見学の後によるにはよさそうです。
