ＪＲ御徒町駅やメトロ仲御徒町駅、都営大江戸線の上野御徒町駅などが集まるエリア。昭和通り近くの三菱ＵＦＪ銀行の並びにあるビアパブ。新橋の「クーパーズエール」の姉妹店とか。
ビール２パイント、フード１品で、〆て４３３０円でした。タップ15種。ラインナップは、日英４種、独３種など。ＵＫパイントで１２７０円から１４５０円の価格帯。円高の影響ですかね。昔と比べて上がったような？ ギネスはないんだけども、オールドスペックルドヘンがあって感激。見た目、紅茶のような面持。軽くて飲みやすい。２杯目はベストビター。それほどビターではないんだけども、エールとしては、というところ。フードは、パブ定番のフィッシュ＆チップス。ビネガー、タルタル、ケチャップの３点セットのほか、カレーソースが付いてきます。ポテトを付けると美味いな。このポテト、サクサクというかホクホクというか、ちと変わった食感。フィッシュは、１７～１８センチ位の棒状。こちらは普通かも。とりあえず、満足できました。
店内は、天井が高く、カジュアルな雰囲気なんで、ブリティッシュやアイリッシュのパブという感じではなく、アメリカンダイナーみたいな印象を受けます。ま、ビールが揃っているので、気にはなりませんがね。近所にあったら、通っているだろうなー。
