Today I took a walk around Asakusa. Long before noon. Signs of famous stores are everywhere, but there are always long lines. I give up and stand in front of an empty eel shop. Then, people started standing behind me, and when I turned around, there were about 10 people. Sorry to have kept you waiting for the opening time! The voice said. I was invited to the second floor and sat next to the window overlooking the outside. The selling point here seems to be hitsumabushi. But I decided to go with Unajyu and ordered Matsu. A set of liver sucking and pickles. Arrived within 5 minutes. Well, since it's an eel specialty store, they probably have it grilled and on standby. It’s fast (lol)! it's a good thing. Even in its jubako form, it still smells good. The size of the eel is also quite impressive. If you live in Iwate, you can get it for this price, but compared to the Tokyo price, this is a good value for money. The taste is that of plump eel meat, so soft that it falls apart as soon as you put it in your mouth. There is a hint of oil between the skin and the flesh, which gives it a rich flavor. I think this price is low considering the quality of the eel and the degree of grilling. Liver soup is also very satisfying as the liver is big and chewy. Eel is only eaten occasionally, but it's well worth it. Thank you for the treat. It was the first meal I had in Tokyo in a long time that left me satisfied.
