仕事の後で上司といった東京浅草の「ゆたか」さん。少し早めに伺ったつもりでしたが、既に70％ほど席はうまっています。室内は和風のクラシカルな食堂の雰囲気。このお店は評価が高く、来てみたいお店でした。
席に着くとお茶とメニューをいただき、メニューから「ロースかつ定食」（2,500円）と「車海老定食」（2,900円）を注文して半分づつ交換して両方楽しみました。
確かにお値段もいいのですが、美味しさは抜群です。
ロースカツの衣は勿論カリっとしているのですが、決して厚いわけではなく、美味しさを残しながら油がしっかり切れている
ので、さっぱりとした味わい。肉は柔らかくも肉汁が油に勝る仕上がりで、いつまでも楽しめる仕上がり。
車海老フライは大きさに圧倒されます。一番太いところで直径5㎝は超えている、７㎝くらいあるかも。そして歯ごたえの凄いこと。ぷりぷりとはきっとこのことでしょう。すごい弾力でした。もちろん旨味も十分。控えめなタルタルソースが海老の味よりも前には出てこないのが自信の表れでしょうか。
食べ進めて後半になると体調にもよりますが皆さんも油に飽きてきたりしませんか。
ゆたかさんの揚げ物はさっぱりしていて後半も胃もたれ一切なし。それでかもしれませんがご高齢の方も多くみられました。
そんなこんなで、あっという間の完食。
この名店、再訪確定ですね。ごちそうさまでした。おいしかったです。
