こちらは、浅草という風土に合わせて、比較的閉店時間が早く、何度か訪れようと思いつつ、月日が流れて、縁が無く今日まで来てしまったといういわく付のお店です。日本酒は、黒龍を看板にしていて、石田屋・二左衛門が相当あり、花山系列のそれも強い酒販店とコネがあるのが推察されます。マスターらしき人の接客は、やや出過ぎていて、お勧めをこちらの要望も聞かずに一方的に話し、料理に自信があるのはわかりますが、味の方は、そこそこというレヴェル。浅草では確かに他にこの手のお店が無いので、重宝かもしれませんが、トップレヴェルの居酒屋と比較すると、色々、粗が見受けられます。例えば、ビールの注ぎ方や、刺身系の盛り込み等など。多くを期待せず、軽く飲むには良いという使い方が適していると思われます。余談ですが、向かいのオレンジルームのピザは、美味でした。
