I ate at Gyukaku for the first time in a while. My friend thought it was an Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) (lol). The first thing that surprised me was that the ordering system was on a tablet. My friend and I came here and ordered the "Carefully Selected Four-Assortment". There were four types of meat, including marbled ribs, lean meat, and tongue, and they looked beautiful, so I was surprised that Gyukaku could serve meat of this level! There were two slices of each of the four types of meat, which was just right for two people. We ate it with salt and wasabi, but even with a lot of wasabi on top, the fat of the marbled meat made it not spicy at all, and instead the sweetness was brought out. The thick-sliced tongue was soft and juicy with wasabi and lemon juice, and my friend and I looked at each other and smiled... It was delicious! We were licking Gyukaku! We also tried regular loin and skirt steak, but because we had already eaten the "Carefully Selected Four-Assortment" first, it was inferior to Kuroge Wagyu beef... This time, the carefully selected four-assortment, choregi salad, kimchi, top skirt steak, loin, and two soft drinks cost about ¥6,000. I was glad that my friend, who was eating Gyukaku for the first time, was pleased.
