食後のコーヒー&トースト&一服をするべく徘徊しているうちにこちらのお店を発見。食べログで候補を探して決め打ちで行くのも便利だが、時には町を徘徊して探すのもまた楽しいもの。
外観からして、これはかなりの"激渋さ"を期待しつつ店内に入ると意外とそこまででもないかも…。と、ご主人とおぼしきお婆ちゃん(激渋)が「カレーだよね、カレーだよね、ごめんなさいねぇ、ご飯があるかしら…」としきりに恐縮。
私「いや、一服がてらトーストを…」
激渋「ごめんなさいねぇ……あ、大丈夫、一人前くらいは大丈夫！」
私「あ、いや、トーストなんかでも…」
激渋「ううん、大丈夫だから！ごめんなさいねぇ」
ということでカレーとなる。
こんな時は流れに巻かれるのもアリ。
しばしして、出てきた物はなかなかのボリューム。う～ん、いいねぇ、と、食べてみるとオフクロの味の中にもスパイスが感じられるというか、不思議と食後にもかかわらずサラッと食べられてしまうほどに飽きない物。家庭的なのだがボリュームのわりにくどくないというか、妙に旨い。
食べ終えて、ホットコーヒーを頼んで一服。
外観に反してバリバリ現役感のある不思議な魅力ある喫茶店であった。お婆ちゃんは良い意味で期待通りの激渋。
