「デミグラスオムライス(1,350円)」
サラダ・味噌汁付
オムライスは単品注文で可能なこちらと、日曜祝日を除くランチタイムに注文可能なケチャップオムライスの2種類があるが、今回はこちらのデミグラスオムライスを注文。
登場したのは美しいドレスオムライス。
オムレツは、
表面が光り輝くトロトロの半熟オムレツで、見事にドレスのような仕上がりになっていた。
やや厚みがあり、ほんのり甘いが、塩気はほとんどない。
ライスは、
水分多め、やや柔らかめなケチャップライスで、かなりしっかりとした濃いケチャップ味と、バターの風味がしっかりと感じられる、ナポリタン風味のもの。
具材はベーコン、玉ねぎ、ピーマンの3種類で、特にベーコンは量がある。
ソースは、
粘度低めなデミグラスソースで、結構あっさり目。
やや酸味もあり、ウスターソース系の味わい。
オムレツやライスが結構インパクトのあるものなので、ソースがあっさりなのは相性いい。
ボリュームも程よくあり、コスパがいいオムライスだった。
【まとめ】
浅草の名所「浅草寺」は続く仲見世通りから、新仲見世通りに曲がり、つくばエクスプレスの浅草駅方面に進んだところにあるお店「昔ながらの喫茶店 友路有(トゥモロー)」さん。
こちらのお店のコンセプトは、昭和レトロな喫茶店。
店内にはあらゆるところにレトロを感じさせてくれるような仕掛けが施されており、入店と同時にタイムスリップしたような感覚に陥る。
お店はここ浅草店の他にも、本店の赤羽店、そして赤羽2号店、日暮里店と計4店舗展開されており、都内でも渋い立地で営業されている。
こちらのお店を一躍有名にしたのが、「マツコの知らない世界」という番組。
フレンチトーストの世界というタイトルの回で紹介されたそうで、フレンチトーストの人気はかなり高い様子。
この日は休日の11:20に訪問。
店内はほぼ満席で、1人用のカウンター席のみが空いていたため、待ちなしで入店できた。
一応予約もできる様子なので、もし事前に訪問が決まっているなら予約するのもアリかもしれない。
